George Washingtons First Inaugural Address Word CloudJust a quick update, am currently working on a word visualisation project, but what exactly is it? Well take a look at the image above and you will see. The project is taking a look at the inaugural address’s of the Presidents of the United States From George Washington to Barrack Obama in a visual perspective. I have began to compile all the inaugural address’s and by using a cool little application called Wordle have transformed the speeches into visual word clouds. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text, which highlights the agenda and priorities of the speaker.
George Washington’s first inaugural address word cloud, is the image above, have currently only done the first nine, will have the remainder of the address’s done by next week, it is quite time consuming.
